Fostering Families 7th Mile Expansion Fundraiser

Fostering Families has developed the 7th Mile Farm, an outdoor recreational facility, to serve children in foster care and at-risk youth. This summer they were able to make a difference in 82 foster kid’s lives during 3 camps. Chris Yaughn has dedicated his life to making sure as many foster kids get the “ROCKSTAR” camp experience and never having to turn kids away due to lack of capacity. After hosting 6 camps over the last 2 years, it has become clear that they need more space to serve more kids.

Camp7 and Royal Family Kids summer camps cater specifically to children in foster care. They are overnight camps focused on allowing the campers to experience lifetime adventures and participate in activities with the intent of building meaningful core memories! Both are funded solely thru private donations and are zero cost to children attending or their current placement.

Plans have been drawn to expand and complete the 7th Mile Farm to its fullest capability. This plan includes 2 additional cabins, a 6000 sq ft activities center and a caretakers lodge. My wish is to see the farm completed by next year so more foster kids can be served.

With all this said, it will take approximately $300K to complete. I know that is a lot to ask, but I know how many thousands of people across the country have been touched by Fostering Bulloch, be it through Royal Family Kids Camp, Camp7, Amplify Hope or The Hope Chest.
