Rebuilding Dreams: Help Foster Park Little League
Donation protected
Last weekend, our beloved Foster Park Little League faced a devastating blow. There was a break-in at the equipment shed where both the utility Gator and John Deere mower were stolen, only 2 weeks into the 2024 season. This equipment is crucial for maintaining Foster Park's six baseball diamonds that host 35 games per week for 300 players and countless fans.
Established in 1950, Foster Park Little League has been a cornerstone of our community for over seven decades. It's more than just a baseball league; it's a place where friendships are forged, skills are honed, and community is nurtured. Foster Park Little League is run by a dedicated team of 15 board members who volunteer their time and efforts to support the dreams of nearly 300 athletes and their families.
But now, Foster Park needs your help to rebuild what was taken. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $20,000 to purchase new field equipment, make repairs to the equipment shed, and invest in additional security measures. With your support, we can ensure that our young athletes have the diamonds they need to continue playing the game they love.
Every dollar counts. Whether you can contribute $5 or $500, your donation will make a difference. Together, we can show our young athletes that even in the face of adversity, our community stands strong.
Join us in reclaiming our field and rebuilding the dreams of Foster Park Little League. Your generosity will not only replace what was lost but will also send a powerful message of resilience to our athletes and their families.
Thank you for being a part of our community and for your unwavering support.
Sincerely,
Foster Park Little League Board Members
