Four Point Riders Special Olympics Equestrian Team

Hi, we are fundraising for our Special Olympics Equestrian Team, Four Point Riders, located in New Mexico. Our team consists of 8 AMAZING athletes, 4 AMAZING horses, coaches and volunteers. We practice our horsemanship skills every week to be ready for our area and state competitions that take place annually in August in Moriarty, NM, and September in Clovis, NM. We compete in 6 different events during competition ( Showmanship at halter, Stock seat Equitation, Trail, Barrels, Poles and Figure 8 Stake Race). Not only do we love competition and our horses, we have made great friends along the way.

Special Olympics New Mexico works towards building inclusive communities, transforming lives through sport, and improving the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities. Through programs in sports, health, education and leadership, Special Olympics is creating a world where each person is included, respected, and celebrated for their abilities.

We are raising money to pay for our expenses such as: Hotel, fuel, team shirts, veterinarian expenses, team dinner, equipment, etc…
