9 week old "Ford" (now Lobo!) was surrendered to a local emergency vet by his "breeder" (read: back yard breeder) because he had a fractured hind femur and they "couldn't afford surgery". One of the technicians offered to take him and pay for his leg to be amputated ($200) as she could not afford to pay for the $3k+ surgery and aftercosts to save the leg by herself, but wanted to give him the best shot at a good life as she could. My goal here is to raise most if not all of the money needed to save this little guys leg. He may be up for adoption after healing if he doesn't end up adopted by one of the technicians at the clinic - these guys are hard not to love! Please consider donating and I will do my best to keep this updated regularly with his progress!!!
