"Cancer - Not a 25 Year Old's Bucket List Item"
Donation protected
Jake Fowler: sarcastic to a fault, incredibly loyal, one of the most reliable people you’ll meet and a dear friend to many was diagnosed with Stage IV, Large Cell Lymphoma in October. The good news – doctors are confident that Jake will beat this over time. The bad news, it is incredibly expensive and due to the extensive treatments that he has and will continue to have, his ability to work is severely limited.
Over the next six months, Jake will spend every third week in the hospital for 5 days receiving chemotherapy. During the treatment he is in a hospital bed on a round-the-clock basis. After his chemo week, he is in recovery where he is forced to lay low until his blood cell count stabilizes. From there, if he has the energy, he can return to work. Realistically, that means only a few days every month that Jake can earn an income.
Maybe you have been fortunate enough to take a golf lesson from Jake, or had your kids or grandkids participate in a clinic he ran. Or perhaps he made you smile with his “objectively humorous” jokes. A diagnosis like this is not something a 25 year old would ever have on their bucket list but it is now part of his story. By donating to his cause, you would be giving Jake a chance to focus on his treatment and the knowledge that you can make a huge difference in someone’s life.
Please help us spread the word about Jake and get to our $5,000 goal.
