Help FoxAngels Foundation buy rescuer Paul a van
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Fox Angels Foundation and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
You'll all have read the stories and seen the pictures of the beautiful foxes who have needed our help and been rescued by our amazing volunteers.
Trapping and rescuing a Fox isn't as easy as some people would like to believe.
It takes time - sometimes days, rather than hours - lots of patience
and equipment!
After a rescue, the Fox needs to be transported to a Wildlife friendly Vet
and sadly, they are few and far between - to be assessed.
After treatment, they go to a rescue for rehab and hopefully then released back into the wild,
or rehomed in a Sanctuary if they can't be released.
Some of the stories are heart breaking and sadly a lot of the Foxes are too badly injured, or too ill to survive.
So, to be a rescuer, you need to be a very special person.
One of our most prolific rescuers around the London areas is Paul, whose name you'll have heard.
He goes above and beyond to help and wherever and whenever he's asked to go, he will.
The only problem is Paul's car .
It's a squeeze to get get all his equipment in it.
He needs to take a trap, a crate, a catchpole and towels etc with him.
What he really needs, is a little van that everything will fit comfortably into , instead of being crammed in, especially when there's a Fox on board.
We have had some very big Vet bills recently ie the two Foxes with eye problems,
so we simply can't spend money on a Van, as needed as it is...
So we are going to set up a fundraiser to see if we can raise enough money to get Paul a cheap, second hand ULEZ compliant Van.
If you think you will be able to help..
We thank you in advance!
