Foxtail & Anchor Recovery
Donation protected
Foxtail & Anchor Designs is a labour of love. My wife Kelsey started the business in 2018 and has poured her heart and soul into it every single day since. Whether it's been late night conversations with a client working out the details of their perfect pendant, searching to find someone just the right stone, or researching the lore and history behind each and every gem, Kelsey has always put her customers first, and worked tirelessly for them.
She has invested every penny she could into this business, and because she's always cared more about helping her customers get exactly what they were looking for, for what they could afford, Foxtail & Anchor has never been about huge profits.
In July 2020, a household accident caused over $5,000 worth of damage to Kelsey's inventory of gemstones and supplies. This kind of loss is not only catastrophic for a small business running at already extremely narrow margins, but the loss of so many gemstones which Kelsey had spent countless hours hand-picking and curating hit her hard, emotionally.
I know that between the surprise free gifts she has included in almost every single order, the donations she's made to numerous charities and causes since starting her business, and the pro bono work she has done for clients, she's given so much of herself to the wire-wrapping and gemstone community, as well as local causes.
The heartache of this loss is something not so easily repaired, but I'm hopeful that the community Kelsey has given so much to can help her recover from at least the financial impact, and help her replace her inventory and supplies, and keep Foxtail & Anchor afloat.
