Kokua Campaign for Francis

Aloha family and friends, I was informed recently that my right kidney has a cancerous tumor attached to it.  I was told that both the right kidney and the tumor needs to be removed as soon as possible.  This comes as a total shock to me and my family.  I will be traveling to Oahu to Straub Hospital for the surgery and potentially chemotherapy, if needed.

I have a great team both medically and personally to assist me with this "new venture".  However, the costs of traveling between Maui and Oahu, high insurance deductibles, medicines, etc. will take a toll on my personal finances.  While on Oahu, I will be staying with my Mom in Kaneohe and convalesce for a couple weeks there being in the warmth, comfort and care of Mom and Aunty Carolyn (Mom's sister).  I'm hoping to bring my daughter Chelsea and son Christopher over to visit from Maui while on Oahu.  They've been through much too.  I am so grateful for their support and love.


If you can assist me financially, great.  If not, no worries either.  I know these are tough times for everyone.  Your kind thoughts, prayers and continued blessings are very much welcomed too.  My Mom will be sending out updates on my progress via emails.  If you wish to follow my progress, please send me your email address and I will have her include you in her emails.  She and Aunty Carolyn are teriffic women;  always full of love, life and energy.
