Kenya Volunteer Trip

I have been given the oppertunity to go to Kenya next year on a volunteer trip. This will involve going to two missions, Melon Mission and Silver Bells in Nakuru.
I will be doing various things in order to raise the money required so I can volunteer, and also to raise a bit extra, this will allow me to take some items with me which the schools require. Please donate what you can, I know the children of Nakuru will appreciate it even if it is only a small amount.
Street children of Nakuru scavenged through filthy rubbish in an attempt to find some scraps of food to eat. Some families depended entirely on food from rubbish pits. Some people begged for food and others engaged in criminal activity to earn a living.
Each year Melon Mission have taken in more and more orphaned and destitute children to help. They now provide food, clothing and education to 500 children in a slum area of Nakuru, Kenya. Melon Mission serve the children regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity or gender and every child has access to the two servings of food a day and educational classroom studies.
Silver Bells takes care of all children equally, irrespective of their tribe, race, or religious background. Everyone at Silver Bells is treated with respect and worth. Silver Bells is one big family.
Silver Bells now have 95 children. Silver Bells is still growing and in need of much more support through funding, sponsorship and volunteers.
