Support for the Sapp Family

19-year-old Lethan Sapp was involved in a head-on collision on Thursday, September 1 and was life-flighted to Peoria after sustaining severe injuries. He was immediately taken into surgery, where the surgeons had to remove a large portion of his colon and try to repair several severely damaged internal muscles.

Lethan also suffered multiple spinal fractures and has already undergone a second surgery to stabilize and repair his spine. At this time, he has no sensation in his legs or feet, and the doctors continue to explore the amount of nerve damage he may have sustained.

He will be in Peoria for the foreseeable future. Any donations will be used to cover medical expenses, travel and lodging for Lethan’s family and to help ease the burden of the long road of recovery Lethan and his family will now face.
