THEY DID IT!!!
The Frostproof 12U (Ponytails Traditional) Girls Softball team won the State Title Sunday evening with an 11-0 victory over Paxton at State Tournament in Bristol, FL. The girls were undefeated in both the District and State Tournaments!
The girls 10U (Darlings) team ended their impressive run through the postseason with a State Runner-up title. They were defeated by Sneads in the State Title game.
Our girls need your support! The World Series is being held in Hartsville, South Carolina. The World Series begins July 25, 2015 with two games starting at 6:00 PM. Florida (Frostproof) plays Texas (Winnsboro) at 8:00 PM on Field 6. Directions to the complex can be found here: Johnny Downs Sports Complex. These girls have worked very hard to get to the World Series. As you might imagine, providing transportation, lodging, food, etc for 12 girls, three coaches and their parents is challenging. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Help give these deserving girls an opportunity to attain their dream of being World Series Champions. These young ladies represent all that is right with Frostproof. Go Bulldogs!
