Help Skye have surgery

I am truly thankful for everyones support and kind words during this difficult time. Each time I checked in the days leading up to the surgery I was overcome with emotion at the support that everyone has shown. Skye is a very special animal and truly has saved my life the last couple of years. I would do anything I could to save her and return the love she has shown me. Easing my burden is such a blessing and I never would have thought of doing this if my sister, Betsy Kain, hadn’t suggested and set this up. She is a real hero and made this whole thing possible. I took out a Care Credit account to pay this bill because I thought it was the best option. So far, bills have totaled around $3,500. Skye is out of surgery but the coming months will be a real strain on both of us. Her recovery is extremely restricted. She is such an energetic and happy dog usually. Reigning her in is tough and heartbreaking. There is a second surgery down the road now to remove the steel bar they wired into her leg yesterday. They have said the cost of that surgery will be less but didn’t give me an estimate.
