Mission Trip to South Africa

Dear Friends and Family,

For many years my school, Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill, has been raising money for Mukhanyo Christian School in South Africa, a school for AIDS orphans and vulnerable children, in rural South Africa. This past year I spent time working behind the scenes, creating plans for another successful year of fundraising for the school.

Now, I have the opportunity to help the kids at Mukhanyo Christian School, in person.

First, I will spend two weeks learning how to be a camp counselor at Camp Living Water in Bryson City, NC, alongside 18 students from Mukhanyo. Then, in December of 2023, I will take my knowledge to guide the kids of Mukhanyo Christian School, while in South Africa. This is an incredible opportunity to learn about leadership and community service.
