‘Yorkshire Three Peaks Charity Fundraiser’.

Please help us raise the funds to support children in India at the Bhairavnath Vidyalaya School, along with the Trussell Trust to provide foodbanks for families struggling in the UK.
In June 2023, a group of us from Leeds Beckett University participated in a study abroad programme in Pune, India. During our visit we had the privilege of meeting the students from Bhairavnath Vidyalaya School, Rihe. Despite not been as fortunate as ourselves in the UK and having sporting and IT facilities, the students were so grateful for the help we gave them both in the classroom and on the Football pitch.
Inspired by this experience and the ongoing challenges they face, we have decided to take on the ‘Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge’ in September this year, supported by Carnegie Great Outdoors and Leeds Beckett Business School. We aim to complete the 24 miles in approximately 12 hours, including a 1585m of ascent, to raise the funds for them to be able to purchase some new, improved sports and technology equipment.
The funds we raise will equally be split between the school in India along with ‘The Trussell Trust’, an organisation who help provide basic necessities through food banks across the UK for struggling families. By choosing to support these two charities we hope we can make a difference to both local and international communities. We greatly appreciate any contributions.
