Help Me Save My Home

Hello My name is Nakia, and after 17 years as a Maryland homeowner, my home is in foreclosure. While I’d previously understood this was a possibility, I just recently realized that this could occur in as little as 30(?) days or less.

Over the last year, I’ve attended 11 interviews and have even accepted working the front desk at a nail salon in hopes of keeping myself afloat. None of these circumstances have amounted to full-time work that will allow me to cover my bills. With 16 years experience as a government employee, I remain hopeful about securing stable employment.

However, I urgently need $8575.74 to reinstate the mortgage. I’m also accruing attorney fees now that the foreclosure is in process. I’ve struggled with the implications of making this information public but would rather be vulnerable and help up by community than then rob myself of support while silently suffering.
