Joe needs your help!

On June 30th Joe was hit-and-run by a car while on his motorcycle and was critically injured. He is currently going to school for cyber security and working full time, and this couldn't have come at a more inopportune time. He is currently in stable condition and the bills are mounting. This GoFundMe is to help cover his medical and therapy bills.

Joe's list of injuries are long and his road to recovery is longer. While not limited to, he currently has broken vertebra between his shoulders, a de-gloved hand with a broken thumb, a broken femur, a compound fracture on his tibia, a broken fibula, a de-gloved foot with broken bones, and an injury to his knee. He will lose two toes on his foot, with the possibility of having to amputate the remainder of his foot.

He has since had metal plates and supports put in his femur and tibia, there are pins in his foot, with plans to put plates in his foot if the doctors are able to save it. They're planning on grafting skin onto his thumb. There are many surgeries ahead, but is currently waiting to see how his body is healing and for the swelling to go down.

Due to his injuries, he has been out of commission and focused on his recovery. Joe is in a great deal of pain and has an uphill battle ahead. He has several operations left, years of physical therapy, and the pain of having to relearn simple tasks like taking a shower, brushing his teeth, and much more.

Joe is the type of person to drop everything he's doing to help out a stranger. During his free time, he could be found volunteering at the animal shelter and making an impact on those who have less in life.
