On May 1st Francine and her husband were given news that no one is ever prepared to hear: "You have cancer". Francine was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 32 years old. Francine is a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Over the last several years she has overcome many obstacles; being married to a United States Marine and enduring deployments, having and raising children, caring for family members, etc. In February their 4 month old son had a major surgery to remove a tumor that was blocking his airway. She spent a month in the hospital with him while still caring for her husband and their other children.
Francine's diagnosis comes with a long road of treatment ahead. Later this month she will undergo surgery and start chemotherapy to knock out this Triple Negative Breast cancer. Her chemo regimen will be strong and will last for 6 months. After she finishes chemo she will start radiation that will last for 5-6 weeks.
Unfortunately, Francine and Rod already have medical bills from their son's surgery and hospital stay and will soon start receiving bills from her care. She will have a co-pay ranging anywhere from $40 to $150 for each appointment, test, treatment, etc. These co-pays will pile up quickly and the only thing they should be focusing on right now is Francine healing. We are creating this page to help lessen the financial burden on them during this difficult time. This money will help offset costs of medical expenses as well as supplement income for time Rod will be off work to care for Francine. We also would like to request that you add Francine and her family to your prayers.
