Hi, I am Barbara Garcia-Atwood my sister (and best friend) Francine Garcia-Baca is having a liver transplant.

Fran is married to Felipe Baca; together, they have four kids and two grandkids; with them; I would like to thank you for reading this and considering donating or just offering up a prayer. On behalf of our families. Thank you!!

Francine was diagnosed two years ago with NASH, a non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. She has since gone through many procedures and has been hospitalized several times. We are so excited that she was accepted as a liver transplant candidate and will have her transplant done in Denver, Colorado. Along with that excitement comes nerves and, above all, faith. Please keep her in your prayers.

Although medical insurance will cover a large portion of the transplant, Fran will need to stay in Colorado for 60 days, while recovering from her transplant, the monies raised here will help them with any fees not paid by insurance, such as copays, food, lodging, transportation, and much more.

Fran is a caring, kind and big-hearted person. She has always been there when anyone has ever needed her; now it is our turn to try to help her out. Once again, we truly appreciate any support you can give and please don’t forget the prayers.
