THE PROJECT
My project, my dream is to record my first album of original compositions, so I may share my sensibility and the music that has been living in me with you and the rest of the world. And it is here that you can come into play!
My goal is to record an EP-album of minimalist and "cinematic" pieces for piano. Two will be accompanied by a string duo, and one (see video below) by a quartet. But I need your support to do this. The recording sessions will take place this spring in Redpath Hall, at my alma mater, McGill University, for an album launch in the fall. For this project, I have the chance to enjoy the support and contribution of great artists in their fields. Together, we are ready to record an album of great quality. Many thanks to Sarah Wong (audio engineer-producer), Geof Holbrook (arranger, Ph. D. in Composition, Columbia U.), the Warhol Dervish string quartet, and Zhenni Li (my musical guide, doctoral student in Piano Performance, Yale, Juilliard, McGill) for being part of this wonderful adventure!

By donating to my crowdfunding campaign, you will directly support my music project, and help funding the recording sessions, the arrangements for the strings, the mixing and mastering, as well as the album design and printing. If the total of your contributions goes beyond the campaign goal of $5500, you will also participate in the making of a music video directed by filmmaker Stéphane Moukarzel!

The album will be an essential tool for approaching record companies, concert/tour bookers, and filmmakers—to write music for their movies.
Ultimately, this album will help me to realize my true purpose: to share, move, and transport people; "to help them by lifting their hearts" ("Song to Song", T. Malick).

Mon projet, mon rêve est d’enregistrer un album de compositions originales, pour partager avec vous et le reste du monde ma sensibilité et la musique qui m’habite. Et c’est ici que vous pouvez entrer en jeu!
Mon but est d’enregistrer un album (EP) de pièces pour piano minimalistes et «cinématographiques», dont deux seraient accompagnées par un duo à cordes et une (voir vidéo ci-haut) d’un quatuor.
