Hi Friends,
As you know our dear friend, Frances Mason, is going through a really tough time financially which of course affects us emotionally and mentally. She has worked very hard to build a good life for herself. Now she is about to lose it all. So I decided to start a GoFund Me on her behalf. I’m hoping to raise $1,000 to help her cover some immediate bills while she works out a plan to make ends meet. I am so grateful and appreciative as I know Frances is if you could donate whatever you can spare. Thank you and God bless! You can read Frances’s story below in her own words:

This is why my life is currently hitting a brick wall. I lost my Social Security Disability. They took it. Apparently, I went over the monthly amount in Dec of last year. I went down to the SS office last week. In order for me to get it back I must send in an expedited form. It will take 4 to 6 months. I was also informed that during that 4 to 6 months I can not go over the monthly amount of $1350 by a penny. Well, that made this decision easy! I decided I am not going to fight to get it back. There is NO way I can live off $1350 a month for 4 to 6 months. This means I will have to work a full-time job. I informed my Boss about what is going on and she was more than happy to give me 40 hours. If I need more I can help at other stores and work special events. I have already signed up to work all Jaguar home games and FL/GA. I will also be working some concerts. The special events are good to work you get $3 more an hour plus tips. Even if I work full-time and special events, I am going to take a significant hit in monthly earnings. Not that I have a choice here but I was on disability for a reason so I worry if I can even pull of working so much. This decision also creates a whole new set of problems for me. One BIG one is that I will also lose my Medicare, my Humana Insurance, and the cheap prescription costs. I take quite a bit of medications some that require a monthly Doctor visit. These medications without insurance are very expensive. I spent last week in total panic mode. I cried a lot! When I moved back to Jax I started off in a homeless shelter. I have worked my ass off over the last 6 years to build a good life for myself. I am terrified that I am going to lose it all. I am doing my best to take it one day at a time, one problem at a time and just breath.
