Francis Johnson Memorial Fund

For anyone who has stepped foot in River Falls, even for a minute, you probably have met or seen Francis Johnson!

Known by many as friend, co-worker, bar regular, or bike guy, Francis was known and loved by this community. Francis had many ideas and philosophies in life, but one that he truly lived out was his love for biking. 

Wearing blaze orange and using his special lanterns, he biked countless miles around town, to work, and simply for the love of the ride. 

Last year, I had the opportunity to give Francis a new bike with the help of a kindness grant. Because of the kindness Francis showed to so many I thought a great way to continue his love for biking and his legacy of friendship and connection would be to create a bike giveaway in his honor. 

Every year, I am hoping to give money to Crank Worx bike shop who will then hand pick someone from the River Falls community who is in need of a bike. Please send off our friend Francis by contributing what you can!
