Frank and Jeanne Moore Wildfire Relief Fund

Donation protected
On Tuesday, Sept 8, the Archie Creek Wildfire raced down the North Umpqua River, burning over 100,000 acres and 109 homes.  Amongst this staggering loss was the hand built log home of Frank and Jeanne Moore, along with 5 rental houses on their 80 acre property.   The intensity of the fire left only a small handful of mementos to be salvaged from the ashes.

Frank and Jeanne are safe with relatives in Glide, and remarkably, still have each other to hold onto.  After 77 years of marriage, this will become another chapter of incredible resilience to their storied life together.

But the Moore Family needs our help.  Many of the physical treasures within Frank and Jeanne's home are irreplaceable.  This fund will help them and their family navigate the process of getting Frank and Jeanne into temporary housing, assist with the loss of rental income, and buy them time as they work through the nearly impossible process of accounting for their loss of personal possessions and property.

Frank and Jeanne Moore have given a lot to the State of Oregon, to our country, and to the natural landscapes that they call home.  Now is our time and our turn to give back to them.   This fundraising campaign is being directly coordinated with the family of Frank and Jeanne Moore and donations are deposited in an account managed by the Moore Family.
