Frank John Pecaitis Memorial Scholarship

Frank John Pecaitis Memorial Scholarship: This will be in memory of Frank J. Pecaitis, a 1982 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and a 1986 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Health Care Planning and Administration. While at Mount Carmel, Frank was an 11-letter athlete in cross country, wrestling, and baseball. He was selected and served as team captain for cross country, wrestling and baseball while being an honors student. Frank was a 1982 District IV AAA Wrestling Champion and part of the District IV runner-up baseball team. Frank was also inducted into the 2016 Ed Romance Hall of Fame. Frank loved sports, and through sports, he learned how to excel in all aspects of life. Frank was also a leader for the Penn State University Alumni Association West Coast.

Frank held high-level administrative positions for several global companies such as General Electric, Agfa, QuadraMed, and Philips. Frank was currently employed as the Business Market Leader of North America for Philips Diagnostic & Pathway Informatics.

To honor Frank, we, as a family, are taking donations to establish a scholarship that supports a graduating senior who attends Mount Carmel Area High School for four years, strives to achieve academically, pursuing a post-secondary degree in either health care or business field and letters in two or more sports.

Frank John Pecaitis was born on December 28, 1963, and passed peacefully with family on December 24, 2022.
