Frank Kelly's medical journey

Hi, my name is Jessica. Frank Kelly is my father-in-law and I am setting up a fundraiser on behalf of the Kelly family to support their father's medical needs as he has just suffered a life threatening heart attack in the Dominican Republic. Due to unforeseen medical expenses he now finds himself unable to financially meet the ongoing procedures that are needed to save his life. Frank has always been a hard working man, a retiree from a long career at the Irving Paper Mill in Saint John, NB. He has enjoyed traveling, family, and living life to the fullest. Frank has always been a very generous person and now needs our help. He had a major heart attack on June 10, 2024 and ended up in ICU following the insertion of 2 stents. The surgeons informed us that he will require at least 3 more stents and possibly open heart surgery. He remains hospitalized in Puerto Plata. His medical bills have to be paid upfront before the doctors will perform any further surgeries. The goal of this fundraiser is to cover his current medical bills and get him safely back to Canada where he can continue getting medical treatment. Any donations would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
