Frank Partida Family Memorial Fund

Our LAPD brother Officer Frank Partida was appointed to the Department in February 2005. For the last 16 years of his life he served the City of Los Angeles with compassion, dignity and respect. Frank touched the lives and hearts of many especially those privileged enough to work with him.

On 09/26/2020, Officer Frank Partida heroically captured an attempt murder suspect that had shot at two of his fellow officers in the front lobby of Harbor Division. Frank sustained injuries as a result of his heroic act. While continuing treatment for his work related injuries, he contracted Covid-19 and fell ill. Frank battled with the terrible virus and lost the battle on 09/26/2021. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Kristin and two young sons Logan and Gavin.

Frank loved spending time with his wife Kristin that he cherished and their two sons Gavin and Logan that were his world. His favorite pastime was spending his weekends with his boys who played and loved baseball.

Officer Partida was the primary breadwinner of the family. As a result, the financial impact is significant for the family. His loss is not an on duty death and the family will not receive the same benefits. We kindly ask that you assist his family as they have been hit hard with many unexpected expenses.
