A letter from John And Francisco :
HELP KEEP MY HUSBAND WITH ME
My husband and I have been together for 15 years and married for 5. He is in the process of getting a Green Card. I petitioned for him almost 2 years ago, but with such a backlog of cases we have just now received a notice that an interview has been scheduled for March 29th. He will have to go to Juarez , Mexico for the visa interview. My only source of income right now is Social Security disability, and my husband is at a minimum wage job. Since we have limited resources we are reaching out for assistance from anyone that may have some compassion for our cause.
Our attorney has already told us that he will have to go down the week before the interview to have a medical examination and will have to stay there until his visa is approved and he’s given the paperwork to return to New York. That may take another week. We are looking for funds to pay for his airfare and hotel expenses as well as the visa and attorney’s fees. After adding everything up it seems we are in need of $5,000. Any help that you can give us will be appreciated more than you’ll ever know.
Here is a picture of me and my husband. Nice couple, right? I’m also showing you the letter which we received so that you’ll know it is a legitimate request. Thank you in advance for your kindness and thoughtfulness.
