UPDATE:

On October 16 we were able to transport Frankie to Jacksonville. Thank you to all who have helped Frankie get to Brooks. He spent his first day getting some fresh Vitamin D and meeting his team of therapists. Brooks is a beautiful center full of hope and miracles. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of you all ♥️

UPDATE:

As of today, October 11, Frankie has been bed written for the past 33 days. He has loss all ability to move & muscles due to atrophy. He is off the ventilator but still has a trach & feeding tube. This categorizes him as a low-level patient (he cannot lift his arm, etc.) making him ineligible for a rehabilitation center closer to home. With that said, Jackson Hospital has been extremely helpful in finding the right fit to get Frankie back to himself. His family has chosen, Brooks Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The owners of RAD Medical Transportation will be transporting Frankie from Jackson South to Brooks Rehab in Jacksonville. For those of you who have donated, his family is beyond grateful for your kindness and generosity. Every dollar is going to help Frankie get back to the Frankie we all know & love. Again, there are no words that can express how grateful they are for the outpouring of love & support!

On September 8th, Frankie and I were involved in a freak near fatal boating accident. It will be a month since the accident. While he remained in an induced coma for three weeks the doctors are confident that he will recover, however there is still healing needed to the  damage his lungs sustained. Recently, Frankie has shown much improvement and is breathing on his own. He’s been moving his extremities slowly at certain times, and he is responding well to family and friends. For now, because of his weakened and delicate state, doctors cannot determine when they will release him. As Frankie continues to fight for his life, we would like to relieve some of the financial burden that awaits him once he is out. Frankie is in need of Low Acute Therapy which still is undetermined his location. We want his focus completely on his full recovery. We kindly ask for you to keep Frankie in your prayers and if you can please support the GoFund account.
