Frankies Spuntino Group Employee Fund
Donation protected
Dear friends,
Like most of our peers in the industry, we had to close indefinitely in response to COVID-19. We're serving the community with delivery while the situation permits, but the truth is that the majority of our 150 employees are now out of work. Similar cuts are taking place throughout our economy, but the restaurant industry and its 15 million person workforce are particularly vulnerable: leaders in the field project that under current conditions, many of the places you love will not be back once this crisis subsides.
Therefore, we are requesting your help on two fronts:
1) Please donate what you can to this GoFundMe in support of our staff and their families. All funds will go directly to them, and we will keep a running log of all donors so that we can style them out once our doors open again. The party will be big.
2) Ring your local representative or senator, and tell them that the restaurant industry needs to be part of the federal stimulus plan: [phone redacted]. Here’s a helpful guide for what to say on that simple, quick call .
We’re all navigating uncharted territory right now, so we cannot tell you how much we appreciate your consideration. And we can’t wait to serve you again.
With deep gratitude,
Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli
