Franklin’s Memorial
Donation protected
This is the most difficult thing to write. Mac McQuade, Franklin, and “My Love” to his wife Kathryn, Dad to his two children, and Uncle Mac to his nieces and nephews was found unresponsive in his office and passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was a great man, a master crossword puzzler, an artist, cat dad, an indulgent father, a loving and doting husband.
You could have found him on the front porch, in any weather, doing crossword puzzles and getting caught in conversation with anyone with a few spare minutes to stop by. He was a good friend and father to many. Everyone who met him loved him immediately, his love had a gravity and it pulled people together. Mornings will never be the same without him and his daily notes, the holidays will miss his decorating, there will be no one to sleep on the couch with the TV on. There is an enormous hole in the lives of everyone he left behind, an empty chair on the porch.
To pay for the funeral costs, cremation, and celebration of life, we are asking for donations. No contribution is too small, and every donation will be deeply appreciated. We are forever grateful for every donation during this time of grief. In the face of this profound loss, we are reaching out to you for support.
