Help Franz Wall

What Happened

On Saturday, the 28th of November, my dear cousin, Franz Wall was in a terrible skiing accident in Lake Tahoe. He was airlifted immediately to the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Currently, Franz is paralyzed chest down. He was in multiple surgeries. His spine was crushed and the crushed C6 vertebrae was removed and inserted a bridge to stabilize him. He also broke his hip and pelvis. 

About Franz
Franz is one of the most adventurous people I know. Often you would find him surfing, hiking, skiing, riding four-wheelers... the list goes on. He is also an extremely caring and selfless man. He took the lead in helping and organizing (going above and beyond) a whole picnic at the top of Vernal Falls in Yosemite, where I proposed to my fiancé. You could not ask for a better man than Franz Wall.  

In addition to all his great personal qualities, he is a man of character and a man who loves our country. He is serving in the United States Navy going to the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni school of dentistry in order to be a Navy dentist. His career aspiration for as long as I can remember is that of becoming a dentist. 

Whenever you are around Franz, you can't help but smile at his love for life. 

How to Help

Franz Wall and his family are humble and God serving people. This account is set up in an effort to help them (his family and Franz) pay for Franz's long term needs. It will also help his immediate family so they can stay by his side, in Reno, Nevada. The hospital is roughly 5 hours from where the Wall family lives.   His time in the hospital may be a long journey lasting many months and rehabilitation even longer. 

Anything is appreciated and nothing is expected.

Prayers are also very appreciated. It is of the utmost importance we storm heaven with prayers. God will see him through this.

Background Information for Transparency Purposes
My name is Peter Kretschmer (currently located in State College, PA) and am Franz Wall's cousin. I have organized this in an effort to raise funds for Franz Wall and his family in response to his skiing accident.  The funds donated will go towards medical bills, unexpected expenses, hotel stays for the family, meals for the family, gas going back and forth from their home town to the hospital, and any future medical equipment or therapies for Franz Wall. The money will be withdrawn periodically for the Wall family through GoFundMe. The beneficiary on file with GoFundMe is Christy Wall, Franz's mother.
