Fraud of 8300

Wilson osayi Enobakhare, a 23 year old from Benin city, Edo state who studied at the university of Nottingham England, UK. He conducted fraud on my PayPal account in the month of April which left me with a debt of £8300. While Wilson was my boyfriend and I was going through an emotional period due to my father being unwell and battling cancer and unfortunately passing away from it. He saw it fit to acquire my paypal details, I was going through an emotional time from losing my dad in April and paid little attention to the account. I contacted Wilson several times in the attempt of paying off the debt but it has yielded nothing positive, I even went on to contact his family members who paid deaf ears to my cries and provided me with Ill advice; telling me to ask for a cut from the money, even went on telling me not to contact the family. My mother had been dealing with a lot since the passing, paying the tuition of my siblings and I, I am an international student and the tuition of my sister and I is a lot. I really don't want to break her heart with any of this ill news, I have reported to the police but the whole process has been taking forever, with paypal constantly contacting me, all I want to do is pay off the debt and carry on burial preparations for my dad, without having this heavy cloud hanging over my head.
