Frauen Initiative Uganda Fundraiser

Founded in 2020, Frauen Initiative Uganda is a women-led grassroots community not for profit organization based in Uganda. Our primary mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for victims of sexual violence, offering a range of essential services to address their needs. From emergency support to facilitating access to rape kits and post-exposure prophylaxis, we are committed to providing comprehensive care for victims.

In addition to these critical services, Frauen Initiative Uganda also offers psychological and legal aid to ensure victims receive holistic support on their journey towards healing and justice. Our organization is dedicated to empowering victims and advocating for their rights, both within the legal system and in the broader community.

It's important to note that all the services provided by Frauen Initiative Uganda are made possible through generous donations from individuals and organizations who share our commitment to supporting victims of sexual violence.

In Uganda, where many families live on $1 a day, accessing essential mental health services like therapy can be a distant dream. With therapy sessions costing up to $30 per session, the financial burden is simply too high for most families to bear. As a result, many Ugandans who have experienced trauma, particularly those who have been sexually assaulted, are left without the critical medical care and support they desperately need.
