Freak accident help

Donation protected
Hi there!!! My name is Trysten and my wife is Lindsey. We have set up this fundraiser for a good friend of ours whom was involved in a freak accident August 25th.

As a happy family outing turned grim quickly, my friends went to a family fun park with their son, his friend, and their great nephew. They were having a blast until the incident that happened that caused the park to close.

My friend was the bread winner of the family. Due to the severity of his injuries, he is looking at multiple surgeries with the possibility of losing his foot completely. That being said, he will be out of work for an unforeseen amount of time. Being a PROUD Military Veteran, he doesn’t like reaching out for help. So my wife and I are here asking for help with his family while he sits in Harborview for an unknown amount of time. His wife drives daily from Burlington to Seattle to be with him. Between gas getting to and from, parking daily at the hospital, food and other needs, food for their teenage son (stays home mostly cuz of school) to eat while Mom is with Dad. A meal train would be ideal. Rent and other bills are also stacking up. So is the stress.

As of right now, with the few surgeries that have been done, things are looking ok. Our friend is in good spirits considering. Anything helps. If you can’t donate that is ok, please just share. Please no names or locations to be shared if you know our friend. Thank you all for your time and donations.

UPDATE 11/19/23!! So skin grafts are not fully healed but looking good!! Heel bone is not fully healed but can start doing a small amount of weight bearing, only around the house and only about 30 lbs of pressure!! They are saying probably another 3 months before totally walking normal!!
