Fred for orthopedic surgery

Hi everyone,

We have created this GoFundMe to help out a beloved member of the Med O Lark Community. Jerry, our amazing cook that keeps us all fed and is the owner of two of Med O Larks many beloved dogs, Fred and Ted provided us with a not-so-good update on Fred.

Fred is in need of a complicated and expensive surgery to help fix quite a few orthopedic issues he is dealing with.

Fred had his appointment with one of the best veterinary orthopedic surgeons in the country on Monday, and found out some really bad news. He has issues not only with his right shoulder (which we thought was the only issue) but also both elbows. He needs to have all the bone fragments removed, the bones and joints where the fragments came from smoothed over and ligaments repaired. It's way beyond what we thought was the worst case scenario, and after seeing the ultrasounds and X-rays I don't know how he is only displaying a moderate limp. His recovery period will be between 3-6 months.
