FREDDY’S WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY

August 20, 2019, Freddy came to the shelter weighing 144.5 lbs. Freddy has not seen the outside or touched grass in almost 3 years!Freddy was essentially bedridden as his joints would not support his weight. Freddy attended water therapy sessions 2 times a week and instantly began losing weight. As of today, June 11,2020 Freddy weighs 75lbs! Unfortunately, with that much weight loss comes a lot of skin that will not bounce back. Freddy will need surgery to remove a large lipoma and extra skin left from his extreme weight loss. This skin is causing him a lot of discomfort and effects his ability to walk properly. Freddy is SO close to completing his recovery and this is the last step for his journey to come full circle.
