Fredrick-Miller Spring Friends Lawyer Fund

A development company wants to build 50 housing units on the beautiful 28-acre wooded meadowland shown in the aerial above, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. These lands are tied to Fredrick-Miller Spring as well as Riley Creek, cherished by many Eden Prairie residents and neighbors.  Right now, there is a vote scheduled to rezone the area from rural to urban on May 4th. We are asking for these funds to secure an experienced environmental lawyer. We have one selected and have estimated what the total cost will be. Any funds raised in excess of goal will go towards additional legal expenses or towards the potential purchase of the land. We will update as often as we can. Because of the upcoming council vote, we are extremely pressed for time. We have a team that is growing daily, extremely passionate, and committed to making sure the area stays protected.
