FOR JUSTIN: Children's Camp (Togo West Africa)

For Justin.

The New Dawn family suffered a tragic loss a little over a year ago when our youngest founding member Justin Alexander was lost to us as a result of gun violence in Dayton, Ohio. Justin's father -Mike - is one of my oldest and dearest friends and was my nephew. He was so excited about the potential of New Dawn, with him and his generation the ones we thought of most when coming together with this idea of cooperative economics.

The story is heartbreaking, for us all. And we have done our best to move on. In that spirit painful as it is, my friend Ayiti and the Togolese contingent have so graciously and lovingly agreed to designate this 1st Annual New Dawn and Happy Kids Summer Camp: For Justin.

For him and all our, children all over the world we camp in Togo next week so they can have healthy, authentic and beautiful lives.
