Free grocery delivery 4 seniors/impaired - East LI
Donation protected
Hello all. We are a small local business located in Southampton, NY. Montauk Iced Tea and H20 is a little over 3 years old.
With the Coronavrius epidemic occurring, we believe it is essential to give back to our community. We want to help the elderly and disabled, as well as anybody who is really in need at this time who are physically unable or scared to leave their homes.
We would like to start a free service twice a week to provide our disabled, elderly and people in need within the Riverhead area with supplies to keep them safe and healthy during this time. The less they are exposed to potentially life-threatening ailments, the better.
We are partnering with the First Baptist Church of Riverhead along with Open Arms Food Pantry and The Butterfly Effect Project.
We will be using our Montauk Iced Tea vehicles to deliver groceries and other items to people in need. We will be volunteering ourselves and along with members from the church and non-profit to make this happen. We will be taking necessary protective measures.
We would like to raise these funds ASAP. Your donation will go towards gloves for delivery drivers and gas for the delivery vehicles. In some cases, cost of food for any vulnerable individuals who are unable to access funds. We are going to be accepting food donations at the church and any other donation that can help in a crisis like the one going on now.
If any restaurants would like to help participate and have any leftover food, instead of throwing it out we would love for you to donate.
Together and standing united, we can truly make a difference. Thank you in advance.
Please contact The Butterfly Effect Project Monday-Friday 10:00am-2:00pm at [phone redacted] or Montauk Iced Tea [email redacted]
