Free lunches for children during school holidays

Hello, my name is Bev and, with our cafe team, run a community cafe in Ellington Park in Ramsgate, Kent. In Ramsgate deprivation, crime and unemployment are all higher than the England average, with higher numbers of vulnerable people.

In the current financial crisis, we are worried that many children are in families that are really struggling with ever rising food and utility costs. So, we would like to gift free, healthy lunches to these children during the school holidays.

Our staff and volunteers will prepare and serve the lunches at no extra cost to the cafe, so all your donations will go to buying the food and healthy drinks.
