Here is our story...

Step into the heart of Free Trees Ireland, where the spirit of giving takes root and transforms the Irish landscape. We are a nonprofit organization, currently in the process of registering with the Charities Regulator, with an ambitious mission – to plant over 250,000 free Native Irish trees across the Island of Ireland by the end of 2030.

Our journey began with the resounding success of our initial tree donations, and now, we are gearing up to expand our impact and embark on a mission to restore our native woodlands. Picture the serene beauty of Ireland's landscapes, adorned once more with the splendour of indigenous trees, breathing life back into our cherished surroundings.

This mammoth task is shouldered by a team of dedicated volunteers who, until now, have valiantly pursued this mission with zero funding. Trees are carefully chosen, purchased, and lovingly sorted into bundles, each bundle carrying the promise of renewal. From there, they embark on a journey, delivered or picked up by a network of distributors spanning the length and breadth of Ireland.

Our commitment is not just to groups or organizations; it's to every individual in our community who dreams of a greener, more vibrant future. We make every effort to ensure that our distribution points are as accessible and close as possible, ensuring that anyone with a vision of a verdant Ireland can easily collect their free trees.

However, we cannot do this alone. To reach more gardens and fields to plant more trees, we need your support. There are no minimum or maximum donation amounts – every Euro you contribute will be dedicated to buying and providing more indigenous trees. Our work is driven solely by the passion of volunteers, and we aim to keep it that way.
