FREE POTATOES - CHANGE A LIFE - EDUCATION FUND
Donation protected
Over the past several weeks many of you have seen my post about the free potatoes on social media. You may have even seen my ugly face on Live with Kelly and Ryan, CNN, Fox news or heard me on National Public Radio. Many of you from all over the world have asked me if there is anything you can do to help. Well my friends, now is your chance to literally help change the lives of three young friends of mine. Serena, Charles and Joel were born in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Their father was an alcoholic and drug addict. Their mother Susan divorced and is now raising these three beautiful children on her own without public assistance. Susan told me that her dream in life is to educate her children and see them attend the university. She knows this is the only way for their family to leave the slums. They are good kids and I want to see Susan’s dream come true and I am going to make it happen one way or the other. I am calling upon you today to help. Please feel free to share just a little of what God has given you to potentially change the destiny of generations of Susan’s posterity by donating to their college education fund. Thank you for all your kind words to me and for your loving support.
My name is Ryan Cranney and I am a farmer in Oakley, Idaho.
I reached out to this family because I was curious how life in Kenya was during the Covid 19 pandemic. In the process of communicating with this family we have became friends. They have never asked me for anything during all this time. I have only offered to help because their story touched me.
I will put the raised funds in trust. I will not send the money to them directly but will pay for the college education costs at the beginning of the first semester then at the completion of each semester thereafter. If the children do not complete the required work they will not get the money. If the money goes unused then the funds will be placed in the Cassia County Education Foundation. The foundation's purpose is to help with education needs of students in my local school district.
My plan is to send the funds directly to the University that the students attend.
