Free snake traps for vulnerable and disadvantaged in Ibiza

The many good people of the island have participated in helping protect our endangered endemic lizards by buying and installing traps. Also other volunteers have helped by approaching the various associations in and helping many great ways. Thanks to everyone so far. The situation would be far worse without your help!

In collaboration with Fita Ibicentro, who have kindly donated the labour, we can produce traps at a discount and offer them to people who are undecided, vulnerable, have limited resources or frightened. I will support these people, along with other services here on the island, to retrieve the snakes, give training, reassurance and support. Together, with other campaigns and organisations, we could make a differences 

The situation is critical for our lizards, and my aim is to reach the gaps on the island and reach more people, not just those who can afford it or have the confidence to participate.
