Free Swimming Lessons in Gaza

Life in Gaza is hard. Millions are cramped into a small space. They are regularly bombed.

But they have the sea, to swim, to play, to have fun. However, swimming can be dangerous, especially at the beginning of the season when the sea can be wild.

We want to fund swimming lessons for 100 children whose families cannot afford the lessons.

$50 will pay for 10 lessons for one child, eight in a pool and two on the beach, ending in a beautiful display on August 26th. This video is from last year' Gaza Swimming Carnival.

The children are taught at the Tantish Swimming Academy.

Amjed Tantish is a local teacher and swimming instructor. He and his team have been giving swimming lessons for 20 years.
