Free the Cars! Aid for Seized Protest Vehicles
Donation protected
On August 22, non-violent protesters occupying Woodward Ave were attacked by the DPD Riot Squad. During the attack, DPD targeted frontline aid workers such as medics, legal observers, and the drivers who keep us fed, hydrated, and protected from oncoming traffic.
Since then, DPD has refused to return the vehicles which were seized during the attack. Currently, there are three vehicles which are being held by DPD and are accruing fees at a rate of $700 per day.
Any additional funds collected will be redirected to 313CC, an organization committed to medical and safety related mutual-aid.
