Demonstrations intensify in Iran sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22 year old Kurdish girl who was killed while in the custody of the morality police after being detained earlier this month for allegedly wearing her hijab too loosely.

Iranian community in Ottawa pledges solidarity with Iranian men and women standing up for their human rights, freedom, equality and justice.

PAND Settlement Services is a registered Charity organization in Canada (based in Ottawa, Ontario) serving Iranian and Farsi Speaking newcomers to Canada. These days we are organizing peaceful marches and rallies to raise awareness about situation Iran and show support of the local Iranian - Canadian community for the men and women in Iran.

Organizing these legitimate and permitted rallies (in collaboration with RCMP and Ottawa Police) requires some expenses which we can not spend from the charity organization's bank account, therefore based on suggestions from the community, we start this fundraising campaign on Go Fund Me to raise funds to cover associated expenses.

These expenses are including but not limited to designing and printing posters, renting sound equipment, printing handouts, buying refreshments, etc.

Once no more gathering is needed, the remaining amount will either be refunded back to the contributors or be donated to PAND Settlement Services for community projects.
