Freese Family Fire Recovery Fund

This is the Freese Family: Jen, Sean, Owen (age 6), and Rory (age 3). On October 9th, 2017, the Freese family woke up abruptly and were told to evacuate from their home due to a massive fire. Hours later, the Freese family would find out that they lost their entire home to the Santa Rosa Tubbs fire near Coffey Park, losing everything they owned. Their entire neighborhood was completely gone. Many families and homes were impacted by this devastation. Unfortunately, this isn't their first experience with natural disasters as both Jen and Sean were living in New Orleans during hurricane Katrina and also recovered from the damage of their home in 2005.

The Freese family could really use a break. That is why we are setting up this page to ask friends and family to donate finanically to support them as they recover from another devastating loss. Both of them will likely be out of work for awhile and are currently living with friends temporarily. With two boys, finanical support is what is needed to recuperiate some items for themselves such as living expenses, food, and clothing for both adults and the two boys, but eventually more functional items such as school supplies, kitchenware, bedding, homeware, toys, books, etc. will need to be purchased to start their lives over again. Their mortgage payment will still need to be paid monthly. Eventually, the family might have more specific things that they need but monetary support is more immediate and allows them to use the money the way they see fit. Remember they have lost everything, so the more we can provide them, the better off they will  be. The sooner that we can provide the funds, the better. 

My name is Carolyn Emrich, I live in San Francisco, and I'm a close friend to the Freese Family. I've known the Freeses since 1995 where I met Sean Freese in high school. I consider them to be family as we have supported each other through thick and thin. I want to make sure that we can help them through this rough transition to make it as smooth as possible.

UPDATE: The Freese family have reached out and VERY grateful for all the support. Any of the proceeds that are not used to help them will be donated to a local disaster relief to support the Santa Rosa community. Thank you everyone for your support!
