Annea Lockwood
Hello friends and supporters of adventurous music! We're in the final phase of raising funds to present the 5th Frequency Festival, from February 24-March 1, 2020. The next festival is now seven days long with music and musicians from Germany, France, Australia, Canada, and all around the US, including plenty from Chicago. Naturally, raising the bar in terms of global artists and added events means raising more funds. We're super close to our goals, but we need to make this last push--won't you please help? Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. You can check out the entire program bellow, but I'd like to point out that the legendary composer and sound artist Annea Lockwood will be part of her first-ever portrait concert in Chicago, and she'll engage in conversation with close collaborator Nate Wooley. There's also a two-day focus on the music of Éliane Radigue played by some of her closest collaborators including cellist Charles Curtis and in her Chicago debut German violist Julia Eckhardt.

2/25: Jacob Wick (solo and with Phil Sudderberg) @ MCA 6:30 PM
2/26: Julia Eckhardt (w/ Nate Wooley) play Éliane Radigue @ Bond Chapel (co-presented with Renaissance Society) 8 PM
