Frequency Festival 2024--Chicago
Tax deductible
Last week we announced the line-up for Frequency Festival 2024, which we think is one of the strongest, most diverse programs we've ever put together, with slew of fearless, top-notch string players distinguishing the schedule. Violinists Austin Wulliman (JACK Quartet) and Sarah Saviet will play solo concerts, the violin-viola duo of andPlay (Maya Bennardo and Hannah Levinson) and the viola-voice duo of Eyvind Kang & Jessika Kenney join Ensemble Dal Niente as performers featuring strings this year. Of course, we also proudly present BCMC (the duo of Cooper Crain and Bill MacKay, solo trumpeter Nate Wooley giving the North American premier of a new piece by Martin Arnold and the Chicago premier of another by Sarah Hennies, and speculative music of Zarabanda Variations, pianist Cory Smythe, and, last but certainly not least the Chicago debut of Swedish composer and musician Ellen Arkbro. You can find full details on the program here.
But assembling such a first-rate cast is expensive and your support can make a huge difference in keeping Frequency Festival on a sustainable path. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Frequency Festival, which is generously hosted by Constellation and the Rennaissance Society. Any amount helps, but with rising costs we really need your help!
