Fresh start for Payton, Weston, Delaney & Cooper

These 4 kids are the kindest and sweetest and they very much deserve some help, which is why this GoFundMe is being created by their uncles - and is directly for their benefit.

Not long after this past Thanksgiving weekend...Payton, Weston, Delaney and Cooper's dad & our brother, Matt Davis, was checked into the hospital in Manteca, CA with what ended up being a very serious leg infection. He ultimately had to have his left leg amputated above the knee. Since late November 2023, he has been in two hospitals and a rehabilitation center in Manteca & Modesto, CA. Currently, he is in a short term rental as he further heals and recovers from his very serious health matter (his surgeon told him it was the worst infection he has seen in his 35 years as a surgeon). While in the hospital, Matt's wife and these 4 kids' mother, Kimberly Davis, passed away due to acute organ failure in January 2024. Through all of this & without the need for further details...these 4 wonderful kids have been temporarily under the care of a very thoughtful, loving & motherly family friend. We are all very grateful for her and her family for being there for our nieces and nephews. Which leads us to the next step for the kids...

Due to multiple circumstances, these kids - and Matt - simply will not be able to return to the home they've lived in for the past 12+ years. In effect, they are all completely starting over. We - as uncles - are asking for your help via financial support for these specific matters: new bedroom furniture, other bedroom furnishings/desks/dressers/etc, updated/new clothing, among other items that will be very necessary and helpful in providing a really nice tailwind to their pending new start. Lastly, we have targeted a timeframe of around early to mid March in finding them a new home and having them situated with this fresh start.
