In 2004, with almost no notice, Fresno State officially ended the Fresno State Men's Soccer Program.
With just weeks to save the program, the local soccer community rallied hard and raised 1.6million in funding to re-instate soccer and swimming, but it was a dime too late...

After being one of the top soccer communities in the country and boasting a top 2 NCAA attendance average in the country (almost 3,500 bulldog fans per game) their reality for local athletes playing at Fresno State was terminated.
Today (2017) Fresno State Male Students carry the torch with the FSFC program. Players enjoy great support from Student Services and a partnership with the Fresno State Women's Soccer Team, but the dream and rally cry still lives on... to "BRING...BACK FSU Men's Soccer"
